COVID-19 Operating Procedures
It is a priority for Dayton Housing Authority to protect the health and safety of our residents, staff, and guests from the COVID-19 coronavirus. We are following the recommendations of the medical community as well as the guidance by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Effective January 1, 2021 our office lobby will be indefinitely closed to the public. Our staff will be here to assist you in any way possible and can be reached at our main number at 423-775-1871. You can also reach us by email at email@example.com.
During this time we will be observing the following procedures:
- Rent will be collected by check or money order. Please place your rent in the drop box outside our main office or mail to P. O. Box 257, Dayton, TN 37321. We will provide you with self-addressed, stamped envelopes at your request. Please do not place cash in the drop box.
- We will not be accepting applications for housing until our lobby reopens.
- We will respond to emergency work orders although regular work orders may be delayed. Normal work order procedures will be observed during regular office hours and after hours emergency work orders will also be processed as normal.
